Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has been sentenced to jail for 50 days after being found guilty of breaking the jaw of a taxi driver.
The 30-year-old was said to have refused to pay a taxi fare of £5 due to the driver after partying with his girlfriend in early September.

Bendtner, who currently plays for Rosenborg first punched the the man before kicking him as he lay on the ground. According to Mirror (UK), the former Gunners striker however admitted to the accusation because he felt threatened when the driver threw a can towards him.
Having being ordered to pay £176 in compensation, he told the court that he acted in self-defence and was released on appeal. The driver was acquitted of violence but fined £353 for using his phone while driving and not wearing his seatbelt.
